Length: 100-135 cm (39-53")

Height: 65-89 cm (26-35")

Weight: 35-45 kg (77-99 lb.)

Status: common

Habitat: Bohor’s reedbucks like large areas of swampy grasslands where there are annual extremes of drought, flooding and fire. They are seldom found more than 25 kilometers (15 miles) from water even during the worst droughts. Bohor’s reedbucks need cover to hide.

Role: herbivore

Food: Bohor’s reedbucks are exclusively grazers. They feed on the dominant grasses in their habitat. Most feeding is at night. They might move as far as 8 kilometers (5 miles) from their range in order to feed on some choice grasses. During the dry season, they will feed during the daytime. They must drink at least every two days.
