Tail: 47-51cm (19-20 inches)

Weight: 13,5-20 kg (30-45 lb.)

Status: endangered

Habitat: Gelada baboons are found in montane grasslands and forests, usually near gorges. They are found in the mountains of northern Ethiopia..

Role: omnivore

Food: It spends most of its life on the ground where it eats grass and grass roots and rhizomes.
