Length: 48-66 cm (19-26")

Tail: 55-100 cm (22-39")

Weight: 7.25 kg (16 lb.)

Status: It is not endangered. Blue monkeys are a race of Cercopithecus mitis monkeys. In Kenya, the Syke’s monkey is found on Mount Kenya. The blue monkey race is found in the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem (west Kenya, north Tanzania, east Congo).

Habitat: forests of all kinds to 3 000 meters (10,000 feet); lives in groups of 12 to 20 animals

Role: omnivore

Food: It is an omnivore. It eats fruits, leaves and insects as well as small birds and mammals.
