All books on this CDROM were written by Dave Taylor. All photographs on this CDROM were created by Dave Taylor.  All maps on this CDROM were prepared by Dave Taylor.  Canon cameras and lenses were used exclusively while on safari. Pictures were taken on Kodak 64 slide film.

The authors gratefully acknowledge the assistance of several individuals who have contributed to the creation of this CDROM.  Without their help this project would not have been possible.

The world owes a dept of gratitude to the countries of Kenya and Tanzania for the fine work they continue to do in preserving this paradise.

About Dave Taylor

Dave brings considerable field experience and biological expertise to LifeStories. He is the author of over twenty-five books, including several on African wildlife. He is an award-winning author and wildlife photographer who has visited East Africa several times. He has also served as a safari guide. He has been enthralled with African wildlife ever since he was given a book on its wild animals when he was five years old. Dave is currently a grade eight science/geography teacher in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He has also taught grades 3-8, outdoor education, and has served as a science resource teacher in his board. Dave has authored and photographed for another CDROM, Dave Taylor’s Wildlife Reference Library, which is also available from LifeStories.

About James Cash

James Cash created the user interface of Dave Taylor's African Safari. He was responsible for integrating the images, text and sounds into a learner-friendly, hypertext book. James brings to LifeStories many years of classroom and computer experience. He is a computer consultant and educator living in Mississauga, Ontario. His company, LifeMedia, provides direction and expertise to individuals and businesses wishing to take advantage of information technology. James has directed the production of other CDROM projects such as Dave Taylor’s Wildlife Reference Library, which is also available from LifeStories.
